Short answer: furniture ships from Dubai to the rest of the GCC by road in about 1–2 weeks, or faster by air for smaller pieces. You can buy ex-works (you collect from our Jebel Ali warehouse with your own forwarder) or delivered (we arrange transport to your address). In both cases, import duties and VAT in the destination country are paid by the buyer. Shipping cost for online orders is shown at checkout.
Delivery times from Dubai

|---|---|---|---|
| UAE (all emirates) | 1–4 days, free | Road | Included |
| Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam) | 1–2 weeks | Road via Al Ghuwaifat / Batha, or air | 15% |

| Kuwait | 1–2 weeks | Road via Saudi Arabia, or air | No VAT |

EXW or DAP: which should you choose?
- EXW (ex-works) Jebel Ali: we prepare and pack the goods; your forwarder collects, exports and imports them. Best if you already have a logistics partner, for example on a construction project.
- DAP (delivered at place): we arrange transport to your address or site; you (or your agent) handle import clearance, duties and taxes on arrival. Best for private clients and smaller projects.
Documents you will need
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list with dimensions and weights
- Certificate of origin, where required by destination customs
- Importer details: name, ID or commercial registration, and customs code where applicable
Missing importer details are the most common reason for delays at the border, so have them ready before dispatch.
Customs duty
GCC countries share a common external tariff, and furniture is usually charged duty at around 5% of value, with exemptions in some cases for goods of GCC origin or goods that have already cleared GCC customs. Rules and their application differ between countries and change from time to time, so ask a licensed clearing agent in your country for the exact amount.
How furniture is packed
- Each piece is wrapped and protected individually, with corner protection for carved edges and crowns.
- Mirrors and glass tops are packed separately.
- Large orders can be palletised or loaded as a full truck.
Avoiding delays
- Confirm who the importer of record is before dispatch.
- Share the full delivery address, contact number and site access rules.
- Check public holidays: borders and customs slow down around Eid and national days.
- For projects, ask for phased shipments matched to your programme.
